As we head towards the Inverness Half Marathon, we want to say a massive THANK YOU to every single person who gives up their time to marshal the course, hand out water, and cheer you on. Our volunteers truly are the backbone of our events.
Special shout-out to @rokzkoolacademy, a brilliant local Highland charity who provide a dedicated group of volunteers for all our events.
From workshops and holiday clubs to community projects, they help families and young people come together, be creative, and learn new skills.
Whether helping you find your rhythm on the drums or your pace on the course, their energy is infectious. We are so proud to partner with them.
Please give ALL our volunteers a huge cheer when you see them out on the route! π£

On 8 March, the streets of Inverness will be buzzing with extra excitement as we host the Lindsays Scottish Half Marathon Championships and North District Championships for the fourth year running (pun intended)! ποΈβ¨
Having Scotland`s top athletes competing for championship glory right here in the Highland capital brings a special kind of magic to the event and we look forward to seeing who is crowned champion.

Weβve made some exciting upgrades to the Inverness 5K this year!
Here is everything you need to know for Sunday, 8 March:
β±οΈ CHIP TIMING: For the first time, the 5K will be chip-timed!
π© EVENT PACK: Your 5K event pack, including your bib number, will be sent to you by post.
SCHOOLS & CLUBS GROUPS: Your team leader will collect an event pack for your school and club group and distribute bib numbers to the group.
β° NEW START TIME: We have a new start time this year - 11.45am. Please assemble in the 5K holding area by 11.20.
Please note there will be no event day entries to the 5K.
