ππ½ Runner Spotlight: Nicole McIntosh ππ½
Nicole McIntosh is taking on the Inverness Half Marathon inspired by her mum, who has run both the Inverness Half and the @lochnessmarathon.
After years of cheering from the sidelines and soaking up the buzz and thrill of race day, Nicole - who admits sheβs βvery much not athleticβ - has decided itβs her turn to give it a go! πͺπββοΈ
Good luck, Nicole, let that inspiration carry you across the finish line! π

π Runner spotlight: Morag Alexander π
π
Morag is taking on an epic 10-event challenge in 2026, all to mark a very significant anniversary: her sonβs 10th `Transplantversary.`
To celebrate a decade since her sonβs life-changing stem cell transplant, Morag is running 10 events across areas covered by NHS Highland, NHS Grampian, and the Newcastle Health Trust.
The Inverness Half Marathon will officially be Event No. 3 on this powerful mission.
Every mile represents a year of health, hope, and gratitude for the medical teams who make these milestones possible.
Be sure to give her a huge cheer when you see her on the course! πππ

Make sure you stay well hydrated on event day!
Being well hydrated by drinking little and often is essential for achieving your best performance and enjoying your event.
We have 4 water stations on the half marathon course located at 3, 6, 9 and 11.5 miles. Water will also be available at the finish line. All four water stations on the course use paper cups.
See you all soon!
